College Open Days

Our open days are an ideal way to discover the opportunities and courses that Mirfield can offer as you explore your vocation. In choosing the College of the Resurrection you will study within a community centred on formation for ministry – come join us for the open day to find out more.

You will have the opportunity to hold conversations and ask any questions you may have, tour the College including Lower and Upper Churches, the College and the Community Libraries.

The day will commence around 11:15 hrs and concludes approx. 16:00 hrs. You will take Sunday lunch with the college in its entirety and you will have many opportunities to speak with our academic staff, ask questions of them on the pathways offered, and any prior learning you may already have. You will also be able to meet with our students to obtain their perspective on life here in Mirfield. We too, will also learn a little more about you and your vocational journey.

If time allows for you as a visitor here you would be welcome to take afternoon tea with the Brethren at the Community of the Resurrection who we are grateful to live alongside of and worship with them daily.  Evensong takes place at 6.00pm and you are welcome to extend your stay to attend this service.

If you wish to bring a family member or friend or if applicable your spouse/partner, you are welcome to do so, but please make this known to us so we can cater accordingly.

For anyone who may have long distances to travel, we can arrange overnight accommodation at the College, so please do ask about this option.

If you are not able to visit on any of the dates published but you would still like to visit Mirfield at another time during term time, please contact Mrs Alison Lewis, PA and College Secretary to look into an alternative date.

PLEASE NOTE:  For visitors to the College who are under 18 years of age (Minor) :

The written consent of a parent or other responsible adult (being a named family member) must be provided to the college before a visit to can be finalised.

This is a requirement of the College Safeguarding procedures and policy.
