Is Mirfield the college for you? We sincerely hope so, but the best way to find out is to come and visit. We’d be delighted to have you spend some time with us – and if you’re married or engaged, do bring your family or fiancé(e). It’s important to decide together whether God is calling you to the College of the Resurrection.
If you are in the early stages of discernment and you have not visited the college before, or you have no first hand knowledge of us, we would recommend that you register to attend one of the open days which are held once per term each year. This would provide you with a good base when you consider your future training.
Alternatively, if you are further into the process of discernment; for example you have completed a BAP Stage 1 and you are awaiting a BAP Stage 2 date, and that you feel Mirfield is where you may like to do your training, we would recommend visiting with us for 24 hours. This is most beneficial during term time; arriving in time for lunch the first day and leaving after lunch the following day. You will have time to meet staff, students and see college life in action.
We would advise you to enquire about booking your stay as soon as you can, once you know the date of your BAP Stage 2, although we are happy to arrange visits at any point that you or your DDO/ADDO suggests.

This will aid staff in preparing for your visit.
If you are unable to visit the college at any other time or for our advertised open days, you may wish to consider visiting on a Thursday evening (term time only). You would join the college for Mass at 6.00pm with dinner following at 7.15pm and then finally coffee where informal conversations may be held.

The written consent of a parent or other responsible adult (being a named family member) must be provided to the college before a visit to can be finalised.
