Lenten Reflections in College
Friday 26th February 2010
As part of our keeping of Lent this year, College students will have the opportunity to reflect with members of the monastic Community of the Resurrection in a short series of talks.
On the three Fridays of Lent when the College is in session, a member of the Community will lead a short reflection at the start of the College day. Following this, we shall keep a period of silence in College, allowing students who wish to do so to pray and think further about the content of each talk.
Picking up on the story of the Transfiguration (Luke 9: 28-36) which we read on the Sunday before Lent began, the three talks will concentrate on Moses, Elijah, and Christ.
We are grateful to Fr Antony, Fr Crispin, and Fr Oswin from the Community for their generosity in giving time to lead our Lenten reflections.
