Independent Students
Studying at the College of the Resurrection offers Independent Students the opportunity to combine academic study at one of the world’s leading research universities with life as part of a residential Christian community.
We welcome enquiries and applications from potential students from both the UK and overseas. The College regularly admits both lay people and clergy as students, studying for the full range of courses available at the College.
Further information is available on this website about the undergraduate courses, postgraduate taught courses and research opportunities available to Independent Students.
Full-time or part-time?
Independent Students are admitted either to study full-time or part-time at the College. Full-time study allows students to take full advantage of the opportunities available at the College during their time here. Part-time study also works extremely well for many people, and allows students to continue to work, minister or provide care to dependants while furthering their education. The College offers a variety of models of part-time study, depending on the course you wish to take. One option for part-time study is the Professional Development Route. For more information, or for an informal conversation, contact the Academic Registrar using our enquiry form.
Fees
Independent students at the College of the Resurrection undertake University of Leeds programmes and are charged the standard tuition fees for these programmes. If you’d like to make further informal inquiries concerning tuition fees or maintenance costs for students at the College, please contact the Academic Registrar.
