Peter Allan became a member of the Community of the Resurrection in 1982. Before joining the Community, he served in parochial ministry in the Dioceses of St Albans and Oxford, and as Fellow and Chaplain of Wadham College Oxford.
Fr Peter studied music at Oxford and theology at the College of the Resurrection. His current research centres on the role of the western chant tradition in the articulation of Christian doctrine. In addition to his duties at the College, he is Prior of the Community of the Resurrection.
